Black Pinch Collar for Dog Behavior Control

This Black Dog Pinch Collar is a great dog gear for training your dog to obey you. Most of medium and big dog breeds are hard to train not to pull on a leash. With this dog supply you can correct his behavior if not easily, but in much shorter period of time than with ordinary leather or nylon collar. But we do recommend to consult your dog trainer before using such type of collars.

The welded and durable prongs are evenly arranged around the length of the collar, so when your dog starts to pull, the tension affects your dog all around his/her neck. The pressure is evenly distributed making your dog feel pinches thus distracting the animal from the object he/she is trying to pull you to. This way of influence is similar to that which dogs experience in their puppy age, when their mother-dog bites their necks making the pups calm down. So there is nothing cruel or violent about using such way of behavior correction.

Pinch Collars can be of a different size. It depends not only on the collar length, but also on the diameter of prongs. Pinch collars that have thicker prongs and bigger size are recommended for big dog breeds and adult dogs.

The size of this Black Pinch Dog Collar is 23 inches (58 cm); prong's diameter - 3.2 mm (1/8 inch). The total amount of links is 10. If your dog's neck circumference is more than 22 inches (56 cm), you can order an additional link, that will add 1 2/5 inch (3.5 cm) to the total length.
So if your dog's neck circumference is 25 inches (64 cm) you'll need to order 2 additional links.
Please be advised that we do not recommend to put this collar through the dog's head. You need to open the links to do that, otherwise you can injure your dog's head or ears.

We do NOT recommend:
1) to leave your dog alone with this collar on
2) to use a wrong size in order to avoid traumas

If you want to turn this collar into an ordinary one, you can simply order a nylon protector that will make it look as a nylon collar and protect the steel from damages.

Note! The collars made of this material are NOT RECOMMENDED for dog with white fur as because of normal abrasion processes they may color white fur of a dog. If your dog has white fur we advise to order a nickel free Curogan collar.
