This collar is made of Curogan. It is a copper-tin-alloy with a high copper portion and some additives which make the material very strong - but without any nickel. That is why these chains avoid a discolouration of fair haired dogs. Julia, The funniest thing happened. My mastiff came bringing me a package in her mouth. (She normally goes and gets the mail for me daily.) Well, I opened it, and told her that it was ""something special"" for her. She immediately got up after laying down and we opened it and put her new collar on her. It fits her perfectly. I still wonder where she found it; I'd say UPS left it somewhere in the yard and she recognized it as mail and brought it to me! She is in training to be a service dog! Thanks for your help.
